A Dharma talk given by John Daido Loori, Sensei, abbot of Zen Mountain Monastery, Mt. Tremper, NY. This talk was given at the end of Rohatsu Sesshin, on New Year's Eve 1992. As part of a Zen Fusatsu Ceremony, the talk is aimed at the important of the vows to accomplish the Precepts, and the Bodhisattva Vows in particular. Zen Buddhist teachings on the nature of karma and manifestations of the Bodhisattvas are explained in simple language.
